Family-friendly classes & no contracts

At Oulundsen's, we offer classes that focus on all of the different elements of Taekwon-Do. We offer unlimited training with no contracts!

Class schedules are set up for students to attend at least two classes per week, usually a Monday/Wednesday class or a Tuesday/Thursday class. You are welcome to attend any other training time that you are qualified for.

The problem with most exercise programs is that people don't stick with them. And one of the main reasons why is that most exercise programs are boring. That's why more and more people are using martial arts as a way to get in and stay in shape. It's fun!

Adults choose Taekwon-Do for their physical training for different reasons. Some like the aerobic workout; others enjoy the self-defense or competitive sport aspect of the art.

Martial arts training is a great way to give your kids a head start on life by teaching them respect, to work towards goals, to have more self control, and to have increased self-confidence. With our kids’ classes, emphasis is on good discipline and a "try your best" attitude.

Our School Offers:

  • Safe, supervised, family-friendly classes

  • Trained, professional instructors

  • Individual attention for your child

  • A fun, positive learning atmosphere

All classes are taught and/or supervised by Master Oulundsen. Beginners start out as white belt and usually test for the next level (yellow belt) in approximately 3 months. At this time students move into the intermediate level classes. After yellow belt, students test for their green belt, then high green, then blue.

At the blue belt level, students are now ready to participate in the advanced level classes. The next step is high blue, followed by red, high red and recommended black belt .

Students who achieve the rank of black belt become eligible to try out for the US Junior Team as long as they meet the age requirements. They also compete in black belt championships and continue their training to achieve degrees of black belt

Each level requires students 1) demonstrate the various techniques and patterns that are required for their rank and 2) train consistently for a minimum amount of time between each promotion.
